These conditions apply whenever someone browses the website, reads its material, or uses a search feature. Use of the service means the terms are accepted. Anyone who disagrees with them should stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. This privately operated website has no connection to Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, or any other government body. It and its advertising partners do not provide services for employment screening, credit decisions, tenant evaluation, insurance underwriting, or another purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). This is a records-reference resource, not a private investigator or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government affiliation. It does not hold official criminal records, place official checks, retrieve files, or submit documents for a visitor.

Its role is to identify the Mifflin County Clerk, correctional facility, Sheriff, police departments, Pennsylvania State Police repository, and Megan's Law website that maintain official sources. Independent research tools may also appear.

Pennsylvania registry information is published for community protection. The Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Public Website does not authorize vigilantism, exclusion from work or housing, confrontation, or any other misuse against a listed person.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Our advertising partners do not turn this service into an approved screening product. Information from the site or a linked tool must not be used to:

  • Set insurance prices or assess creditworthiness.
  • Evaluate an applicant for housing.
  • Make an employment decision.
  • Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or public program.
  • Carry out any other FCRA-regulated purpose.

A legally permitted screening need must be handled through an appropriate Pennsylvania State Police channel or a provider that complies with the FCRA.
